Membership

One of DACs newest members, a couple of days before her 1st birthday

Membership

New members who embrace our culture of pitching in and collectively sharing the rewards are welcome to join the club.

Our member base comes from all walks of life, from different cultures and diverse backgrounds. At dinner you are as likely to be sitting next to a King Country farmer as you are to an Auckland banker, a teacher from Napier, a honeyman from Whangarei or a property developer from Pauanui... However, we are all united by the love for snow, great company and the mighty Maunga.

Work Parties are a part of the club culture and are an ideal way to not only contribute to the club but are also a great way to catch up with like-minded people over that snow drought period known as Summer. The Club asks that each adult member completes one full work party per year.

For members, we also have a range of budget ex-rental ski equipment, which can be used free of charge.

Non-Membership

Non-members are very welcome to stay as a guest and enjoy the vibe.

After your first stay, you'll  certainly want to join DAC as a member - because once you go DAC you'll never look back!

Reciprocity:

NOTES:

Membership really saves money and provides great opportunity to make new friends to hang out at the snow with and enjoy a bit of banter in the lodge after.

New applications for membership are very welcome but are approved by committee members. If you don’t know any members who can nominate you, consider staying as a guest for your first visit. A Try-before-you-buy approach.
